Schulte Sporting Labradors is a small scale, selective breeding operation located outside Cleveland Ohio, dedicated to the advancement of the Labrador breed for working purposes.
While our animals make fantastic pets, they also demand to be challenged both physically and mentally on a day to day basis, thus making them more suited for an experienced owner.

Nash is a fine specimen of a male yellow Labrador. He excels at the hunt test line, in the duck blind, in the upland field, or as a family man, relaxing on the couch. No task is too large for Nash. He is 68lbs of pure muscle and his speed and power show that. He's a lover, who will snuggle with you on the couch, then jump in the truck and give his very best every time in the field. A puppy sired by Nash is sure not to disappoint!

Vader is the product of a perfect breeding of parents. His father Nash is a hard driver, always willing to please, truly my best friend. His mother brings the addition of quality pointing genes and a steadiness like no other. Together, they have produced an amazing black Labrador who is happy on the couch with our family, but itching for his moment in the field.

TRAINING
Carolyn Elam has competed Labrador Retrievers in AKC, UKC, and APLA hunt tests. She has titled dogs to the GRAND HUNTING RETRIEVER CHAMPION level. The elite level of the Hunting Retriever Club ! Carolyn has qualified and run AKC's Master National test and has earned enough Master Hunter titles to qualify annually for the Master National.
Carolyn is Nash's trainer/handler and has been from the start. She has the ability to develop a superior gun dog. Blazing Red Kennels is also the home to Nash's Sire, the late GRHRCH (5) UH GMPR Blackpowder's Blazing Red Flame WC MH MNH QAA HOF
